- Admin/biog historySnoxell family of Luton with branches from Wood. Alfred William Snoxell was a hat manufacturer in Luton. There are links to North Wales, A W Snoxell's daughter Molly married David Herbert Jones of Wrexham and the papers and their daughter gave the collection to the Archives Service. Some material relates to Arnold School, Barton and Stewartby School, particularly the scout troop, trips to Devon and the continent and the Operatic and Dramatic Society. These originate with Peter John Blake, who was a teacher at the school and appear to have come to the family via Peter Richard Snoxell.
