  • Title
    Turvey, Bridge Street. On the left hand side is the Three Fyshes inn, with the old stone gate posts and iron railings to Turvey House on the right. Signage on left hand side wall of the Inn reads "Stabling", "Thurleys Food", the third sign is not clear. On the wall above the entrance the sign reads "Estd 1624 Ye Three Fyshes Inn Jarvis & Co, Ales, Wines & Spirits, Good Stabling, Accommodation Cyclists". Hanging sign showing 3 fishes. There are several bicycles left leaning against the building. On the bridge there is a man looking over the side, a horse and rider and what looks like a horse drawn cart. Printer Blake & Edgar's picturesque Bedfordshire Series. Card unused.
