    The Three Fyshers, Bridge Street, Turvey. Photo shows public house on left hand side. sign on wall reads "Three Fyshes Inn, 1624, Jarvis & Co Ales Wines and Spirits Good Stabling Accommodation and Cycles" There is a hanging sign depicting 3 fishes and a separate sign saying "Luncheons and Teas". Bicycle outside the pub, man carrying luggage crossing the bridge towards the pub, motorcycle and sidecar with passenger also crossing the bridge in the same direction.. Opposite the pub on the right hand side is a woman with a small dog standing by the railings surrounding the grounds of Turvey House. Note the spelling error in the caption "fyshers" for "fyshes". Printer "The P N Series of Artistic Cards" - 1311. Copyright A.F.S. (A.F. Sergeant of Lilywhite Ltd) Postally used 1 September 1916. Card sent to Miss C Smee, Terling, Essex . Message reads "Turvey, Beds, Friday. Dearest C, Am sorry I have not answered your Card before this, but have been very busy, and I will write you at my first opportunity and explain the reason. Hoping you are keeping well, with fondest love from Jack XXXXX"
