    Recites (inter alia) death of John Spencer grandson of said Sarah Duchess of Marlborough on 19 June 1746 Recites Decretal Order made by Philip Earl of Hardwick, Lord High Chancellor 10 June 1753 in a cause where Hugh Earl of Marchmont, Thomas Archbishop of Canterbury, Beversham Filmer and James Stephens were plaintiffs and said John Spencer, great grandson of said Duchess of Marlborough and other defendants whereby it was ordered that the legal estate of the said Sarah should be conveyed to the uses declared in her will and codicil, and further Decretal Order made on the filing of Supplemental Bill whereby it was ordered that said former decree should be carried into execution and reciting death of said Beversham Filmer i) conveyed (amongst other premises in Surrey, Oxford, Huntingdonshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Staffordshire, Norfolk and Leicestershire. [gives brief details and name of previous owner]) -manor, capital messuage and other freehold and copyhold hereditaments in Bedfordshire late the estate of the said Duchess and formerly the estate of Sir John Meres, knight, which copyhold premises the Duchess surrendered to the use of her will -freehold and copyhold messuages and premises in Bedfordshire late the estate of the said Duchess and formerly the estate of Bromsall Throckmorton esquire, which copyhold premises she had surrendered to the use of her will -manors, messuages and premises in possession and in reversion in Bedfordshire which were late the estate of said Duchess and formerly the estate of Edward Snagg esquire -rectory and tithes of Stevington, Bedfordshire late estate of said Duchess and formerly the estate of Peter Floyer esquire -lands in Bedfordshire late the estate of said Duchess and formerly of John Calliford and wife Mary to hold to ii) and their heirs to use of said John Spencer, great grandson of said Sarah Duchess of Marlborough, then Earl Spencer for life remainder to trustees to preserve remainders remainder to use of George Viscount Althorpe (only son and heir apparent of said John Earl Spencer) in tail male
