    To wife Henrietta: Dwelling house, garden, orchard, coachhouse, stables and buildings etc., in Hooper's own occupation in Moreton etc. AND close of ground in the Common, Moreton (7 1/4 acres) which Hooper purchased from William Shirley. AND all furniture, plate etc in above house. To Trustees: Henrietta Hooper and John Gunter of Berkley Square, London; James Beebe of Clerkenwell, London and John Shirley of Swell Wold, Gloucestershire, gentleman - freehold estate at Bledington, Gloucestershire and Foxcote in the parish of idbury, Oxfordshire. AND all cash. Trustees to sell Bledington etc. estate and out of this money and interest from stocks to pay John Turton Hooper (son) £1000 when 23 (already paid £500 when articled to Messrs Cox of Birmingham, Surgeons), to other 2 sons William Joseph (acc note at foot of last sheet of HF89/1/2/ he was baptised at St. John Cathedral, Calcutta on 13 August 1826 - born 17 July 1826) and Thomas James Hooper £1500 each at 23 years old. (Trustees to pay 4% on this money from time sons 21 till time they are 23). To 3 daughters Henrietta Ann; Fanny Priscilla and Elizabeth Sarah Hooper and any other daughters born to Hooper £1000 each on 21 or being married (but with consent of Mother). Up to £500 can be paid out to gain a Clerkship. Henrietta allowed annuity of £100 even if marries second time for education etc. of children during their minorities. Elaborate scheme of Reversions. Trustees apart from Henrietta to receive mourning rings of 10 guineas value. Made 27 December 1838. Codicil - John Turton Hooper to get his £1000 only when 25. 4% rate of interest till payment but if John Turton Hooper tries to mortgage it or incumber if, bequest to revert back immediately to his personal estate. 25 December 1844. Proved London 22 February 1845. Notes on dorse sworn under £16,000 testator died 9 January 1845. (pencil number 300), papermark 1859.
