    Whereas: ii) has purchased of Joseph Marston senior -close of pasture with groves of wood adjoining containing 10 acres formerly part of Mead Close in Marston :E. land formerly of Queen Elizabeth and now of Roger Jones, gentleman :W. a grove formerly of John Sanders and now of Robert Squire in right of his wife :S. abutting on close of pasture called Bashcroft and a piece of land called Sternell :N. another part of said Mead Close which premises were formerly of Elizabeth Marston deceased, late wife of Joseph Marston senior Recites: Fine Easter Term 30 Charles II [1678] (i) Joseph Marston and wife Elizabeth (ii) William Bristowe esquire Indenture to Declare Uses of a Fine I) Joseph Marston and wife Elizabeth II) William Bristowe esquire fine declared to be to the use of Joseph Marston senior Now: above bond to be void if Joseph Marston senior shall before the end of Michaelmas Term next, enroll said Indenture in Chancery so that ii) may better make out her title to the aforesaid premises Signature: i) Witnesses: William Bristowe, Thomas Partridge, William Hanscombe Note: said deed was enrolled in Chancery 31 October 1 William and Mary [1689]
