    a) Lease and Release 1) Mary Elizabeth Woods of 57 Cambridge Terrace, Paddington, Middlesex, spinster 2) Martha Addington of same, widow (formerly Woods, widow of Charles Woods of Tempsford, farmer) 3) Samuel Hardwick of Tempsford, baker (purchaser) 4) Martin George of Tempsford, farmer (trustee to Bar Dower) recites Will of Charles Woods (died 23 April 1834) to 2) for life, messuage, cottage or tenement, Tempsford with the yard, garden etc. belonging, formerly occupied by his mother and then by Samuel Bennett. All the rest of his property in Tempsford to friend Luke Addington esquire and Joseph Bennett of Tempsford, farmer, in trust to maintain, educate, clothe and support his daughter 1) above until 21 or marry with consent of her guardians then to daughter (including reversion on messuage above) Prerogative Court of Canterbury 24 Jun 1834 Messuage, tenement or dwelling house with bakehouse outbuilding, yard, garden etc. adjoining, Tempsford, formerly in tenure of Elizabeth Medlock and for some time past of Samuel Hardwick. And close of pasture adjoining above [1 acre 1 rood 23 perches], part of close called Dovehouse or House Close formerly in occupation of – and then of and for some time Samuel Hardwick.
