To wife all real and personal estate for her sole use 'I trust my dear child will understand that I do not mean hereby any want of love for her but she is already provided for.' Witnesses: Alfred Mulvaney and Frederick Bonfield his clerks. 19 June 1885. Codicil to will £50 to faithful clerk J.A.Brown if still in Hooper's employment on Hooper's death.
