John Tregenza to Wilshere: this would be a good opportunity for him to go and see the mill being erected at Hertford Gaol, for "my number is reduced from 19 to 5, 2 male and 3 female." His little daughter has died in London. 24 May 1820 Wilshere replies that he has visited Hertford and wonders whether their mill is too big for Bedford's prison........ 27 May 1820
