    Recites Lease for 21 years at £20 per annum of 27 March 1639 (parties as noted in X147/25) – Manor of Lacies in Clifton, bought from Oliver, Lord St John of Bletsoe and Oliver St John esq – Advowson and right of patronage of parish church of Clifton. – Manor house of Lacies alias Clifton, now occupied W Rolt. – Other manor of clifton bought of Francis Russell, Baron of Thornhaugh: Indenture of 15 June 1644: i) W. Dixie, ii) John Dixie. – all property mentioned in lease of 27 March 1639 for reaminder of term: Assignment: 29 May 1652 i) John Dixie, ii) Edmund Wingate. – As in 27 March 1639 and X147/25 and leases to C Clitherow for remainder of term unless W Rolt pays T Hawkes £2,160 before lease runs out. - Land as in X147/25 and - capital messuage and parcels of meadow. Occupiers: Michael Sheffield, John Raven, John Whitebread, Paul Fletcher, Samuel Hills, Richard Jeggle, Richard Dilly, Walter Rolt, George Taylor, John Etheridge, John Snewsby, Nicholas Haggis and William Woodfield.
