    Reciting that on 17 May 1883 that Joseph Hopkins held - 1 acres 2 roods in Grovebury Field with frontage to Grovebury Road of 132ft and 495ft in depth, formerly in occupation of Samuel Hopkins, deceased North - late Samuel Hopkins, now James Pettit East & South - late Samuel Hopkins, deceased, now Richard Purrott West - public road from Leighton Buzzard to Grovebury which formed part of 4 allotments (2 roods 8 perches, 2 roods 16 perches, 1 rood 16 perches, 1 rood 32 perches) awarded by Inclosure Commissioners to Samuel Hopkins to which piece of land said Joseph Hopkins was admitted on 20 May 1875 - plot of land adjoining Billington Road (20 perches) awarded by Inclosure Commissioners to John Flint and then in exchange to Thomas Goodman East - Billington South - John Flint West & North - Thomas Goodman - plot of land adjoining Billington Road (2 roods 37 perches) East (part) - Billington Road South & East (remaining part) - John Flint South (remaining part) & West - Thomas Goodman North - Abraham Harm - plot of land in Stonhill Furlong (1 acre 1 rood 34 perches) being part of allotment of 1 acre 3 rood awarded by Inclosure Commissioners to Thomas Goodman North - Martha Ginger and Abraham Mann East & South - Thomas Goodman West - railway from Leighton Buzzard to Dunstable to which plots of land said Joseph Hopkins was admitted tenant on 28 October 1880 on the surrender of Ada Mary and Caroline Sarah Goodman Reciting death of Joseph Hopkins. By will dated 5 May 1882 he devised all his copyhold property to wife Lydia Hopkins.
