    Reciting will of Theodore Harris, late of Leighton Buzzard and of Torquay, deceased, dated 27 February 1889 by which he appointed i) his sons, as executors etc and to whom he gave his property in trust for sale. Said Theodore Harris died on 25 November 1900. Will proved (Principal Probate Registry) on 15 March 1901 now in Consideration of £697 paid to i) by ii) i) as trustees convey to ii) - piece of land in Leighton Buzzard having a frontage to Queen Street of 375 ft and return frontage to King Street of 332ft (3 acres 1 rood 39 perches) with cottage and building erected thereon (as in plan on deed) - piece of land in Ashwell Street with frontage of 60ft (820 square yards) West - premises firstly described East - Robert John Flatten South - Ashwell Street West - Ralph James Bell as shown on plan attached - right of way over Ashwell Street and Edward Street (and right to use sewer in Ashwell Street) ii) covenants that no house of less value than £100 shall be erected or, if 2 under same roof, of £80 each No building to be erected within 3ft of Ashwell Street No wall next the street shall be higher than 4ft No building with thatched roof to be erected ii) to erect fences on North, South and West sides of not less than 4ft ii) will pay proportionate part of expense of keeping Ashwell Street, Edward Street and footway from Ashwell Street to Chapel Path, in repair Drains to be made and kept in repair Signatures of i) Endorsed Witness Alderson Harris, Overton, Torquay
