- Scope and ContentReciting deed of 31 Dec 1789 [X173/173] Reciting will of John Bradwin dated 23 Jun 1832 by which he devised the above property with other hereditaments to Henry Bebb Morris esquire and Charles Austin, gentleman, and their heirs on trust to receive the rents during the life of the testator’s daughter Martha wife of Joseph Hoar, and on her death to sell the property by auction or otherwise, Reciting death of John Bradwin in Jan 1833 and probate 5 Feb 1833 at Court of Archdeacon of Bedford Reciting death of Charles Austin 14 Apr 1842, and death of Henry Bebb Morris on 8 Feb 1848 having by his will dated 26 Apr 1846 devised to (i) all his real property, and that will was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury 6 Mar 1848 reciting death of Martha Hoar 29 Dec 1846, when (i) proceeded to sell the estates of John Bradwin pursuant to the trusts in the will, and that the same was put up to sale by auction in five lots on 6 Jly 1857 and the property below, being lot 3, was sold for £205, but the then purchaser being unable to complete the purchase his deposit money was forfeited, Reciting that (i) has contracted with (ii) for sale to him of property for £205 • All that piece or parcel of orchard and garden ground containing 3 roods 21 perches at Woodside in Caddington, with the four cottages or tenements and other buildings on the ground, being part of the real estate of John Bradwin, now or late in the occupations of Thomas Welch, Thomas Hoar, William Fleckney and Mrs Puddephat
