    Reciting mortgages from 21 Jun 1743 onwards Reciting indentures 10 and 11 Dec 1756 between I) Sarah Hitchin II) Reverend Thomas Whitehurst III) Richard Hitchin and Joseph Ewesden, gentleman, both since deceased being settlement previous to marriage of (I) and (II) when Sarah Hitchin assigned to uses her securities to Richard Hitchin, Joseph Ewesdin, Joseph Margetts Pierson and John Everitt Reciting Act of Parliament of 2 George III entitled “An Act for Vesting Part of the Settled Estates of the Reverend Thomas Whitehurst clerk and Sarah his wife in the Counties of Hertford and Bedford in the said Thomas Whitehurst in Fee Simple” by which it was enacted that the sums remaining in the hands of the surviving trustees should be held to the use of the Reverend Thomas Whitehurst Reciting that the Reverend Thomas Whitehurst has applied to George Wilkins for the repayment of £1,469 10s, and that Ralph Smith has offered to repay the same, and also advance a further sum of £30 10s Endorsed with Assignment in trust of premises. i) Ralph Smith, sole executor of last will and testament of Harvey Stone deceased ii) Francis Wilkins, Woodside, Caddington, farmer, second son and devisee named in will of George Wilkins party to the above indenture iii) John Pope, Wigmore Street, Cavendish Square, Middlesex, butcher iv) David Porter, Little Welbeck Street, St Marylebone, Middlesex, sutmerchant Reciting that above sums not repaid; death of George Wilkins and his will, and that Francis Wilkins charged the premises with a further £800 Reciting death of Harvey Stone Reciting that John Pope has contracted with Francis Wilkins for the absolute purchase of the freehold
