- Scope and Content10/06/1856 Indenture of conveyance between Frederick Burr of Park St. Luton and Fuller Coker (who was unmarried on the second day of January 1834) and Fuller Coker of Shindham, Norfolk. The premises were sold by auction at the "Cock Inn" Luton for £93. Frederick Burr conveyed to Fuller Coker (and his heirs) land of 44 poles and 4 yards in 2 lots, on Crawley Green Road, bounded on the SE by land belonging to Frederick Burr, on the SW by premises belonging to widow Dines occupied by Herbert Tirebuck and on the NE by land belonging to Frederick Burr but intended to be purchased by the Luton & Dunstable and Welwyn Railway Co. 01/12/1858 Indenture made between Fuller Coker, Richard Oakes (builder), John Cumberland (land agent) and Francis Cook (grocer) for conveyance of land to John Cumberland for the sum of £98. During the life of John Cumberland, it was contracted to be for the use of Francis Cook 20/05/1861 Indenture between John Cumberland, Edward Lockhart (coal merchant) and George Charles Gostelow Lockhart (coal merchant) conveying the land to Edward Lockhart and his heirs and for the use of GCG Lockhart for the sum of £125. 10/07/1871 Indenture between Edward Lockhart and George Charles Gostelow Lockhart conveying the land to George Charles Gostelow Lockhart and his heirs for the sum of £1000.
