Potton Road surrender by Frederick Archdale property as described under lot 4 above (admitted as tenants on forfeit of conditional surrender of James William Kingsley, 28 April 1882 – original mortgage 6 May 1878) Eastward portion of copyhold land 2 acres 35 perches staked out from residue of land 8 acres 16 perches abutting N. property of Mr Wilshere W. residue of 8 acres 16 perches (formerly sold to John Bond) S. Potton Road E. property of Edward Lindsell Clerk [2 acres 30 perches formerly described as known as Storeland to which Montford Dowcra was admitted April 1849] abutting S. road to Potton together with “Old Spread Eagle” erected on part of same and 2 cottages erected by Montford Dowcra thereon 5 Jul 1882 (Ebenezer Chew junior to be admitted)
