    to be buried at Richmond, Surrey Recites: Indenture 28 January 1709/10 i) testator and wife Martha, Lady Haversham ii) Right Honourable Lawrence, Earl of Rochester, KG, James Grahme of Levens in Wellmose Land esquire marriage recently took place between i) said Lord Haversham releases to ii) all his lands etc. in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Lancashire and Middlesex and City of London, to provide jointure for said Martha confirms said recited Indenture has settled estate in Ireland on son, the Honourable Colonel Maurice Thompson for life, and has settled other parts of estate for daughters Honourable Frances Armstrong, Right Honourable Mary Countess of Anglesey, the Honourable Martha Lady Every, the Honourable Dorothea Bickford and the Honourable Althamia Thompson; on condition that said Maurice Thompson does not attempt to alter said recited marriage settlement, testator bequeaths all estate in Ireland, Lancashire and parish of St Mary Matsellon alias White Chappell in Middlesex to heirs of said Maurice Thompson; if said condition is not observed or said Maurice leaves no male heirs then estate to go to daughters Honourable Frances Armstrong, Honourable Dorothea Bickford and Honourable Althamia Thompson Bequeaths to said Honourable Maurice Thompson, Honourable Frances Armstrong, Honourable Mary Annesley, Honourable Lady Every, Honourable Dorothea Bickford and Honourable Althamia Thompson £10 each and if said son resolves to live at his house at Haversham then executrix to spend £200 on furnishing it. 1s each to Honourable Helena Gregory, Honourable Elizabeth Grange and Honourable Katherine Thompson to wife house and gardens at Richmond, Surrey and house at Newgate Market in the City of London for remainder of leases therein unexpired £40 to poor of Richmond, Surrey, not provided for by almshouse or other established charity residue to wife, executrix Witnesses: Robert Freeman, Rice Morgan, Christopher Appleby Examined with the original in the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of York Copy examined with a copy of said will now in the hands of Thomas Armstrong of Ampthill, by William Pedder
