    Whereas: Benedict Conquest is endebted to Nichilas Blick junior in £1,200 secured by mortgage made to Mary Tufnail of premises below mentioned also to Charles Cutts in £900 secured on part of said premises also to John Searl in £470 secured on part of said premises also to Thomas Shotbolt in £110 + interest secured on judgment also to John Taylor in £123 secured by bond also to Francis Brace, gentleman in £220 due on simple contract also other debts which cannot yet be ascertained Now: to settle debts and make provision for wife and children i) conveys to ii) -manor of Houghton Conquest alias Conquest Bury -manor house of the same -the Bury Wood 73 acres -the Frith alias Crouches Close 10 acres -Hill Close 26 acres -Sears Close 6 acres - Great Fatting Pasture 50 acres - Horse Close 50 acres -Great Brickhill Pasture alias Holcroft 60 acres -Middle Brickhill Pasture 30 acres -Little Brickhill Pasture 10 acres -Crouches Close 12 acres -Twelve Acre Close 12 acres -6 acres land in the common fields of Houghton Conquest -6 acres meadow in the common meadows of Houghton Conquest -cottage and 4 acres land in Houghton Conquest next to ground of ... -woods within the said manor containing 100 acres all which premises are in Houghton Conquest, Ampthill, Haynes and Maulden in occupation of said Benedict Conquest, Edward King, William Boughton, Joseph Crockett, Thomas Perrott in trust to sell and pay creditors of Benedict and raise sum not exceeding £1,500 to be paid to the daughters (except Frances) and younger son or sons of said Benedict and Hannah at age of 21 or marriage.
