    -Property in Flitwick late purchased of Godfrey Chibnall of Pytchley (Northamptonshire) and wife Elizabeth, house and other lands in Flitwick now occupied Marmaduke Petty - to George Collop of Chenies (Buckinghamshire) eldest son of testator, remainder to 2nd son John of same, remainder to 3rd son Henry of same, remainder to 4th son Harold of same. -Mother of testor to hold lands occupied Marmaduke Petty for life, remainder to Margaret, wife of testor. -Assignment of mortgage of property to John Fox and Richard Petty, to attend inheritance. -To 2nd son John, property in St Martin in the Fields, late purchased of Thomas Sheppard, gentleman, remainder to other sons, remainder to daughters Mary and Ann. But wife if testor to hold property there occupied Richard Brown for life in lieu of dower, -To sons Henry and Harold, property in Covent Garden adjoining Bow Street, late purchased by Richard Petty and John Fox for testor, remainders over to other sons and daughters. -To eldest daughter Margaret, £200. -To younger daughter, Ann, £200. -To mother £5. -To clerk Richard Petty, £10, forgiving debt owed by his father. -To brother John, sisters Walker, Reeves, and husband, 20s each for rings. -To poor of Flitwick and Chenies, 20s each. -Books to son George, he paying any deficit in portions of daughters. -John Fox of Furnivall's Inn and brother Arthur Reeves and Richard Petty to be guardians of children 'earnestly desiring them and my said wife carefully to bring upp my children in the feare of God and to bring upp my sonnes to some calling, either Law, Divinity or putt one or more of them apprentice to Trades.' (sic) Executors: Son George, wife Margaret. Witnesses: Henry Harding, Ann Stacey, Thomas Harding.
