    Whereas: by virtue of a grant made to him by Sir Edmond Conquest knight, his father, i) now stands seised for life in one annuity of £200 issuing out of premises in Houghton called Innyngs, Burye Leys, the Twenty Acres, Ferney Hill, Ferney Spinney, Hoghill, Rolfes Feild, the Fortye Acres and the Barnacles, payable at the 2 terms of the year at the chief manor house of Sir Edmond Conquest called Houghton Burye; also £5 per annum as penalty for every 28 days that any part of the sum remains unpaid, as appears by Indenture 11 October 2 Charles I [1626] (i) Sir Edmond Conquest (ii) Richard Conquest (iii) Sir William Armyn, Sir John Thymelbie, Sir Thomas Hide, Sir Richard Conquest Now: consideration: £200 paid to i) by Elizabeth Archer and £200 by Richard Yeend i) assigns to ii) the aforesaid annuity for 2 years from Michaelmas next Signature: Richard Conquest Witnesses: Thomas Awdley, Henry Gouldsmithe, Alexander Mann Endorsement: no. 294
