    Consideration: £2,000 marriage portion of said Frances of which £1,000 has been paid and the other £1,000 is secured to be paid by Benedict Hall i) will before the end of Michaelmas Term levy fine to Flaxman of: B. -manor of Houghton Conquest alias Conquest Bury -manor house of the same -Bury Wood 73 acres -Innings 6 acres -Bury Leaze 60 acres -The Twelve Acres 12 acres -The Frith 10 acres -The Hill Close 26 acres -Seare Close 6 acres -Fourty Acres with Rolphe Feild and Hoghill 100 acres -Ferney Hill and Fearney Spinney 50 acres -Twenty Acres 24 acres A. -Barnacles Feild -Great Fatting Pasture 50 acres -the Grove 15 acres -Little Fatting Pasture 35 acres -Little Limboses 30 acres -the Groves 30 acres -Lay Close 30 acres -Broome Close 30 acres -Brickell Pasture alias Holcroft 60 acres -2 pightles of closes 8 acres -the Haw Hilles Miles Grove 40 acres -New Pasture 35 acres -Fourteen Acres, the Dairy House, pightles and Backside Meadow 40 acres all in Houghton Conquest and late in occupation of Richard Conquest the fine is to make Flaxman tenant of the freehold so a common recovery may be suffered; the premises are to be held to the following uses: timber to the use of Richard Conquest premises A to the use of John Thimleby Conquest for life and then to Frances Conquest for life and then to Benedict Conquest son and heir apparent of said John Thimleby Conquest, in default to 2nd son etc. If no male issue, then Henry and William Hall to be seised of the premises until £1,000 has been raised from the lands for any daughter of said John Thimleby Conquest; once this sum has been raised, premises are to be to use of Richard Conquest gentleman, 2nd son of Richard Conquest party to these presents for life and to his sons etc., in default to Charles Conquest gentleman, 3rd son of Richard Conquest party to these presents, in default to Kenelme 4th son, then Henry 5th son, George 6th son, Philippe 7th son and Edmond 8th son premises B to use of said Richard Conquest for life, then to John Thimleby Conquest for life, then to Benedict Conquest and to successive sons of said John Thimleby Conquest; if no male issue then to Henry and William Hall to raise £1,000 for daughters, after which premises go to Richard Conquest 2nd son of Richard party to presents etc. as above premises are free of all incumbrances except by Indenture 13 December 1652 (i) Richard Conquest and wife Elizabeth, John Thimleby Conquest (ii) Christopher Lowe, Conquest Taylor, gentleman (iii) John Stone esquire demise for 2,000 years of part of aforesaid premises and by Lease 23 May 1654 i.
