- Admin/biog historyHenry Torkyngton esquire was appointed keeper of the honours of Peverell, Boulogne and Hagenet on February 11 1463 (see Calendar of Fine Rolls 1461-71) The overlordship of the manor of Conquest Bury belonged to the honour of Huntingdon and follows the same descent as that honour (belonging to the Crown at the date of this document) - see Victoria County History III page 290 - and this probably explains the presence of this document in this collection
