When she struck him he struck her on the head with his fist and knocked her out of the chair.. She fell with her baby onto the bricks. She got up and ran out of the doors. Another woman took her child. She reminded out of doors in the street until he had gone to bed. Nothing more passed that night. They had no further dispute until Monday morning when she asked him for some money to buy some bread. He said he would not give her any and hen told her to sit still and he would go and get some victuals. He went out and she followed him to see which way he went. He returned about ¾ of an hour later and sent one of the children for a loaf. Nothing more passed until that night when he returned quite forward in beer. He sent the child for the loaf and said it was to last a week. He then began to swear at her because she had applied to the parish and beat her on the shoulders and arms with his fist.
