Notice titled By Direction of the Magistrates. States John and Nathienal, sons of Henry Sharp of Ampthill express regret that they did not assist Robert Savage, one of the constable and watchman of Ampthill, in keeping the peace when called upon on 17 August 1834, in the case of an assault and affray. They acknowledge their offence and paid all legal expenses. Witnessed by William Wonfor and printed by W. Franklin, Printer and auctioneer, Ampthill.
