(1) Richard Antonie of Colworth,Esq. (landlord). (2) William Roberts of Colworth, Yeoman (tenant). Messuage or farmhouse with Barns, Stables, Outhouses, Yards, Orchards and gardens. And closes of Arable and pasture ground. vizt:- Close of pasture called 'Home Close' (8acres). Close of pasture called Ash Hill (32acres). Close called Great Windmill Close (12acres) (of which 7acres pasture but rest arable). Close of pasture called Little Windmill Hill (8acres). Close of pasture called Ramsleys (8acres). Close or inclosed ground called 'Great Godso' (9acres of which 2acres are pasture and rest arable.) Closes or inclosed ground called Little Godso (7acres of which 3acres are pasture and rest arable.) Close of arable called Alicey (16acres). Close of arable called 'Old Close' (8acres). Close of pasture called Middle Corner pasture (12acres). Now in occupance of William Roberts. ''With tythes and all Commons feeding, profits priviledges and appurtenances." Timber etc. reserved. Right of (1) 5 Agents to remove timber with workmen,horses carts and carriages. Cannot crop or sow with grain more than 3years together on arable and give the lands a good regular summer tillage, every fourth year . (1) will do "all the necessary repairs of timber and tyling'' to said messuage or farmhouse ,but (2)to do other work. Rent £76 per annum and £10 per annum for every acre converted to arable from pasture without (1)'s permission . 15 January 1768. Made out in pencil for new lease of date 1780 . NB. Now not allowed to grow crops more than 2 years together; in the 3rd year to be followed by a 'summer tillage'or fallow. Slit to show no longer operative. Marked B6 on dorse. NB. Memorandum re' Hovels': All belong to William Roberts except 2 bays of buildings part of the cow House and the Wood Hovell.
