Letter to Mr. G. H. Bays, regarding a stolen horse.

Reads: "I have this day made enquiry at various places as to the horse in question and particularly of Mr. Wiggins (personally) who says that he has not authorised any person to sell such a horse. Mr. Dillamore has been dead some time. I cannot find authority has been given to Owen or Louis by any person. The man in custody should state the precise person and place and without it must subject himself to the...and confinement consequent upon his neglect, but this I leave with you waiting full instructions as to what I am to do further in the matter. Mr. Inskip should make an affidavit that he has not employed Lloyds to me the party, and the sooner it is done the better, I will follow up his affidavit as to the will.”
