    William Morriss of Ampthill, blacksmith has surrendered all copyhold lands and tenements, held of the Honour of Ampthill, manor of Millbrook within the said Honour and manor of Barton in the Clay, to use of his will:- -10 acres in Harlington to son Michael Morris -messuage with smith's shop, gatehouse, brewhouse etc. in Ampthill, now in occupation of testator, to son John Morris -messuage in Ampthill late in occupation of William Church and now in occupation of Ann Morris, daughter of testator, and widow Freeman, to wife Ann Morris -also to wife, bay of barning adjoining brewhouse, little bay of barning and little garden now in occupation of said widow Freeman belonging to last mentioned messuage, a slipe of ground above the said little garden and use of the brewhouse and pump in the yard belonging to the said messuage given to son John and access through Great Gates and yard belonging to said messuage with fuel as occasion shall require ...also to wife - messuage in Millbrook and close of pasture 5 acres adjoining in occupation of Christopher Sinfield -cottage in Ampthill now in occupation of WilliamCranfield -cottage in Barton in the Clay and 5 acres arable belonging in occupation of Robert Simons and Henry Kingham -cottage in Flitton with pightle and 1½ acres -£150 to son Michael Morris -£50 to son John Morris, also tools and stock in shop -£150 each to daughters Ann, Ruth and Mary -residue to wife, sole executrix Witnesses: Christopher Bennell, William Flower, William Pedder
