Salary £350 per annum.[10 Nov 1927] Letter from J B Allen accepting the post. [12 Nov 1927] Letter offering him a house – 2, Dyer Terrace, Winnington – for £38.18.0 per annum. Letter from J B Allen requesting permission to resign from his position as Assistant Welfare Manager. ‘Within the past few days I have been invited by the Chairman of the Liverpool Aero Club to take over the management and duties of Chief Pilot and it is my desire to accept the appointment.’[n.d.Aug 1928] Wage slips Nov 1927 – Apr 1928.
