- Scope and ContentElizabeth Armstrong: about 10am she was in the house and saw the prisoner, who lodged as a farming servant in the house, go into the cart horse stable. She followed him and asked him what he was after. He told her he was looking for a round frock which had been hanging in the stable. The prisoner took down the frock and put it into his basket, which he had in his hand. She took the basket away from him and found in it 11 hens eggs. The prisoner was not willing for her to look in the basket and he pulled and she pulled against him. After she ha taken out the eggs the prisoner went away with the basket. Statement of the accused: nothing.
