- Scope and ContentWhereas: a suit has been commenced and is now depending between ii) plaintiff and son Richard Warren and William Beale defendants concerning common right of pasturing in a pasture called Westye alias Westley now divided into 3 several closes in parish of Houghton Conquest; like suit intended to be commenced against said John Cowper and Davye Cripsey NOW: in consideration that Giles Blofeild has given over the said suit and will henceforth forebear to have suit against the said parties i) quitclaim to ii) all right in: -said pasture ground called Westye alias Westley in respect of any lands of i) being part of the manor of Reading in the said parish. i) will severally pay to ii) 3s..4d for the grass eaten by their cattle in the said pasture Signature: i) Witnesses: Francis Clerke, Philip Brande, Thomas Launder, goodwife Cripsey, wife of John Cripsey
