    Recites: 15 July 13 Charles II [1661] 21 July 18 Charles II [1666] Letters Patent 22 September 27 Charles II [1675] King grants John Ashburnham, the grandson, now said Lord Ashburnham -Ampthill Great Park and appurtenances [amongst other things] Indenture 14 March 29 Charles II [1676/7] (i) John Ashburnham the grandson (ii) said William Ashburnham consideration: £500 -reversion of said premises Recites: will of William Ashburnham, dated 11 July 1677 bequeathed reversions to i) and John Lawrence whereas: John Lawrence is since deceased NOW: i) release to iii) - Ampthill Great Park and appurtenances to use of ii) for 99 years if ii) shall so long live then to use of the Honourable William Ashburnham esquire, eldest son of ii) and his heirs male, then to use of the Honourable John Ashburnham, 2nd son of ii) and his heirs male, then to successive sons of ii). signatures: i) ii) Witnesses: Martin Folkes, Thomas Nevett, William Wright
