(Mary was daughter and heir of Sir Robert Baynard, Knight (heretofore also of Lackham)). 1b) James Montagu (son and heir of James and Mary) vouchees. 2) Stephen Mundy of Inner Temple, London, Gentleman, tenant to precipe. 3) Jonathan Rogers and John Scott of Chippenham, Wiltshire, Gentleman (Demandants). Manor or Lordship of Lackham, Wiltshire and Scite, Capital message & demesne lands and all messuages, cottages, mills, lands etc, belonging, lying in parishes of Laycock, Chippenham, Langly Burrell, Corsham, Melksham (alias Melsham), Bromham, Pewsham and Bowden , all WILTSHIRE. Manor of Lordship of Colworth and scite, capital messuage, and demesne lands with all messuages, cottages, mills, lands etc. belonging in ""parishes, fields and places "" of Sharnbrook, Souldrop, Felmersham, Oddehill, (Odell) , Newton and Over Dean, Bedfordshire [Newton is presumably Newton Bromeswold, Northamptonshire]. Consideration : To destroy entails ; 10s paid by 2) to 1). Witnesses : Robert Montagu, Edward Montagu, Paul Cobbe, William Backe, William Griffin. On dorse marked No '1', then No '2' in black ink, 'A2' in blue.
