    1) Right Honourable Earl of Manchester. 2) James Montagu of Colworth, his third brother recites that 1) at the Great Sessions held at Bedford laid claim and title to the manor of Colworth now in possession of 2). It then appeared that the manor of Colworth was devised by Henry late Earl of Manchester (father to 1) and 2)) to 2). 17 August 1647. 1) quit claims to 2) Manor of Colworth and also all other lands and goods which of right belong to 2). Consideration natural love and affection of 1) to 2). 15 September 1647. (Note to be enrolled 16 December 1685). Marked in blue 'A1' on dorse.
