Sent to Mrs Orpen, Olney. Message reads '18.1.05 I expect by time you get this you will know I am not coming till Thurs morn. I hope you are getting on alright. Miss S & I went up this rd. yesterday before we came to the bridge. In the aft. we went in Potton Church & walked to Everton, about 2 miles each way. In the even. we went to a rehearsal given by Miss Carter, the Potton music teacher. The entertainment is to be Thurs. even. Much love AU.'
