    Partition of Premises William Pitts admitted on surrender of Frances Crisp Messuage foremerly Cooke's except part of upper end of yard next close of J. Cooley. Transfer - 25 Oct. 1650 William Pitts surrendered to use of Frances Jellyson, daughter of J. Jellyson of Potton Parcel of land near land of Frances Crisp, occupied said Frances, measurinmg 1 perch 6 1/2 feet in breadth at upper end (from old hedge next land of William Waller lately erected by William Pitts to another hedge of said William) I pole 3 1/2 feet in breadth at nether end (next the houses) including the great ash tree, 7 poles 4 feet in length. Transfer - 24 Dec. 1658 William Pitts surrendered to use of Thomas Campion Messuage formerly Coolies, as above. Admission - 30 Oct. 1704 Emanuel Campion admitted under will of Thomas Campion Transfer - 13 Oct. 1705 Emanuel Campion to Richard Thorn, junior Settlement - 7 Oct 1706 - on Richard Thorn and wife Elizabeth Transfer 23 April 1711 George Whiskin surrendered to use of Richard Thorne Piece of land in King Street, 7 1/2 pieces 3 inches in length near the east end and 2 poles, 2 feet 5 inches in breadth, abutting on orchard of Edmund Halfhyde, gent. Richard Thorne, Junior, George Whiskin and Nicholas Apthorpe gent. Mortgage (Conditional Surrender) - 17 Nov 1712 - £60 Richard Thorne to J. Pedley of Potton, gent. Messuage, yard and orchard in King Street alias High St., occ.upied Jonathan Browne, purchased by Richard Thorne of Emanuel Campion and George Whiskin. Transfer - 18 Nov. 1714 Thorne to Pedley - Property as above Receipt for 10s. paid by Pedley - 9 Nov. 1714 For a pew in Potton Church next the belfry, which Richard Thorne bought of his brother David Thorne. Receipt for £90 paid to Thorne for above property. Admission of George Pedley - 28 March 1720 Surrender to uses of will 2 May 1755, and will of George Pedley, 7 May 1755, bequeathing property to wife for life, remainder to son John. Admission of Susannah Pedley as tenant for life - 2 May 1757 Endorsed (by Wilshere) : All Pedley's property in Potton Regis remaining at his death sold to George King was admitted 31 Oct 1816
