[Grace's mother, Harriet, was a Cranfield before her marriage to James Caton in 1877. By 1901 James and Harriet are living in Conduit Road, Bedford with children William (22), Grace Mary (17), Edmund Percy (16), Frank (14), Ethel (13) and Edwin (12). By 1911 Harriet is a widow living in Potters Bar with Grace, Edmund and Frank, but is listed in the 1920 Directory for Bedford at Danebury, Winifred Road, Bedford.]
