Letter from John Robert Hare Duke, vicar of Stevington. Directed by the trustees of Barringer's charity to instruct John Rogers to let the land in Pavenham known as Crowlands.

The present occupier is John Payne of Felmersham. He sent an incorrect and probably illegal letter of termination of the tenancy, which the Trustees accepted. Rogers is asked to 'get rid of the present tenant legally and quietly, and to have a suitable agreement drawn up for the incoming one'. Additional instructions regarding the use of the land.
