    - devises to his eldest son William Okey a messuage in Luton occupied by George Bowstride; - devises to his son John Okey: (i) a messuage or farmhouse in Luton lately occupied by Francis Tuffnail and now in his own possession; (ii) his close of arable land called Winsden Close containing around 6 acres; (iii) his several pieces of land dispersed in the common fields of Luton containing together about 26 acres; (iv) all his other lands usually occupied with the messuage formerly in the tenure of Francis Tuffnail; - bequeaths to his brother-in-law John Kingston, late of Bovingdon (Herts) but now of Chesham (Bucks), surgeon, the surviving trustee named in the settlement made on his marriage to his wife Ann dated 19 February 1745, one third of his personal estate in trust to be invested to produce an income for his wife Ann for her life in lieu of dower, after her death the funds to be used for the education and maintenance of his sons William Okey and John Okey and his four daughters Mary Okey, Ann Okey, Sarah Okey and Lydia Okey and any child with whom his wife shall be pregnant at the time of his death until they reach age 21 when the funds are to be shared between his surviving children; - bequeathes remainder of his personal estate to his wife Ann Okey, his brother-in-law John Kingston and his good friend Robert Shackell of Watford, distiller in trust, to be converted into cash from which the following payments are to be made: (i) £10 each to John Kingston and Robert Shackell for acting as his executors; (ii) £300 each to his four daughters as above and to any child with whom his wife shall be pregnant at the time of his death, to be paid when they attain the age of 21 or on their marriage if earlier. Until that time the £1500 set aside for this purpose to be invested with the income to be used for their maintenance and education. Any surplus to be invested with income used for his six children’s advancement - at executors discretion household items may be retained for use of his wife during the minority of his children - appoints Ann Okey, John Kingston and Robert Shackell his executors and guardians of all his children during their minorities - executors to use proceeds of his real estate to provide for education and maintenance of his sons William and John Okey - witnesses: Mary Pitkin, Thomas Nicholl, Thomas Deacon junior
