- Scope and ContentSimons Piece, arable, 20 acres farmyard, cottage, barn etc. erected thereon, in Middlefield, Biggleswade, then occupied Edward Rudd, gent. and then Birchens, adjoining common pasture called New Pasture. Ploughed Pightle, pasture, 8 acres, adjoining New Pasture, North, and land sold by Birchens to J. Forster, merchant, South. New Pasture or the Sheepwalk, and right of common thereon for 170 sheep and other common rights there, 40 acres to which Birchens was 15 July 1811 on surrender of Margaret Rudd. Close of arable, 8 acres 2 roods 30 perches in Town Field, Biggleswade, land late William Knight, then Edward Knight and then Charles Nash East, road leading to Shortmead Farm West, part of piece of arable containing 20 acres 2 roods 30 perches, formerly three or more pieces called Mariners Way, Woland and Fleming Pieces. to which Birchens was admitted 7-8 April 1812, on surrender of Edward Knight.
