- Scope and ContentAppoints son Robert Gibbins and son in law Thomas Cranfield as executors and trustees, and bequeaths each £20 free of legacy duty for their trouble. To daughter Maria, wife of Thomas Cranfield and daughter Mary, widow of the late William Setchley £1,000 each. Does not make a similar bequest to daughter Elizabeth, wife of Alfred Rogers, as has conferred certain benefits on her during his life. To son Robert Gibbins for life: messuage and premises in St.Loyes Street, Bedford, occupied by Mrs Chambers. He is to keep the premises insured and in good repair. On death of Robert Gibbins, the property to pass to his heir or heirs at law; if more than one heir, to be tenants in common. Residue of real and personal estate to Robert Gibbins and Thomas Cranfield and their heirs upon trust to sell residuary estate and convert into money. Such money to be used as follows: Payment of funeral and testamentary expenses, debts and legacies bequeathed in will or any codicil One fourth part to son Robert Gibbins absolutely One fourth part to be invested and the income to be paid to daughter Maria Cranfield during her life. One fourth part to be invested and the income to be paid to daughter Elizabeth Rogers during her life. One fourth part to be invested and the income to be paid to daughter Mary Setchley during her life. [Stipulations regarding demise of a daughter; the income then to be paid to her then surviving husband during his life, and following his death to be paid to any children in equal shares.
