    (i) Sir Rowland Alston of Odell baronet. (ii) William Carter of Turvey esq. Recites: 16 May 1719, Recognisance (Statute of the Staple) Charles Earl of Peterborough and Monmouth to Sir Rowland Alston for £1,000; at that time £500 was lent to the Earl by Sir Rowland; 5 April 1720 Sir Rowland lent the Earl £500 more. Sir Rowland declares that the 2 sums lent were held in trust for William Carter, and he now assigns to him the Bonds made. Witnesses: J. Raby, M. Ensome.
