to wife Ann for life freehold and copyhold estates in Langford (she bringing up and supporting his children) reversion to son Henry: 4 tenements or dwelling houses, Langford, now in occupation of testator, William Sale, Robert Swaine and James Ashwell And close and meadow land, nearly adjoining (8 acres) (purchased by Hickson from George Hicks and George Edwards esquire) (subject to payment of £200 to daughter Lydia Turner, 12 months after son Henry shall come into possession and subject to existing mortgage) to son John land, meadow ground and premises (lately purchased by Hickson of Charles Dilly) at Langford in testator’s own occupation to trustees for sale, wife, friends Francis Fowler of Henlow, gentleman and George Field of Clifton, farmer: pieces of land in open fields of Langford (16 acres) (lately purchased by testator from Henry Bean) personal estate etc. to daughter Martha Hickson (after wife’s death) (inventory to be made on his death) witnesses: William Chapman of Biggleswade, solicitor, Anthony Thody, Edmund Larkins made 10 Nov 1807 no date of probate given examined by William Chapman, William Wright (clerk to Mr Chapman) 15 Dec 1807
