- TitlePetition by Goodman, stating that Hanscombe had not attended the inspection ordered , and had "relapsed into his said distemper of melancholly and lunacy to such a degree that hee hath been forced to bee confined and is in noe sort capable to manage himselfe or his estate ..... .. and having fallen into the hands of some persons whome your petitioner hath great reason to believe designes thereby to make advantage to themselves and doe not take such proper meanes and remedies for his recovery and health as is usual in such cases." [Therefore] petitions for confirmation of grant of custody. (Also noted that Gooch was Paid £18 p.a. out of Hanscombe's estate for his maintenance). (2 copies)
