- Scope and ContentSamuel Candish deceased held: - premises as in RH2/8 to which he was admitted 24 October 1787 on surrender of George [sic] Roe and wife recites allotment to Samuel Candish on Enclosure of Millbrook of 3 acres in Washbrook Field [as in RH2/48] rent 1s 6d p.a. - Thillands [as in RH2/48] rent: 2s 10d p.a. - cottage now in 3 tenements in Millbrook containing 1 rood 7 perches formerly in occupation Ann Goodman, widow and since of Thomas Roberts senior [as in RH2/48] Samuel Candish surrendered premises 19 March 1812 to use of will recites will RH2/46 27 July 1821 John Millard and wife Grace surrendered out of court - messuage now in 3 tenements with homestead and appurtenances, formerly Ruffheads, now in occupation Richard Askew, Abraham Summerfield and others - Home Close in Millbrook - spinney in Millbrook adjoining said close 2 acres 3 roods 12 perches which premises are held of the Manor of Millbrook and which Samuel Candish purchased of George [sic] Row and wife - plot 3 acres in Washbrook Field all which Home Close, spinney and plot were in occupation Ambrose Platt and others - close called Thillands 3 acres 7 perches - cottage in 3 tenements 1 rood 7 perches - homestall and one close 1 acre - plot in Sandfield 3 acres 28 perches which premises are now in occupation Charles Austin, John Kingston and others to use of Samuel Davis of Ampthill, gentleman, Edward Smith of Marston, gentleman, and John Morris of Ampthill, esquire upon trusts as declared in will of Samuel Candish father of said Grace Millard now: said Davis, Smith and Morris are admitted to trusts as declared in said will rents: 1s 6d, 4d, 6d, 1s 6d, 2s 10d
