- TitleJoseph Marsden, labourer of Toddington, convicted of stealing 3 pecks of turnips, the value of sixpence and the property of John Smith. Joseph Marsden is adjudged to pay the sum of 5 shillings, the value of the article 6 pence and also pay costs of 13s 6d. If in default of immediate payment, to be imprisoned and kept at hard labour in the New House of Correction for a calendar month unless the sum shall be paid sooner. They direct the sum of 5 shillings to be paid to William Henson, one of the overseers of the poor of the parish, the sum of 6 pence to John Smith and they ordered 13 shillings 6 pence for costs to be paid to John Smith.
