Admin/biog history
Lord Holland was one of the trustees of the Charity founded by Archer. There was a rent charge of £24 per annum payable to Clerke’s Charity from part of Lord Holland’s estate purchased by Lord Ossory from the Duke of Bedford in 1804. An attested copy of the Feoffment dated 18 February 1659/60 is to be found with the title deeds of that purchase (see RO27/0)
