- TitleJames Devereux, of Campton, convicted of the assault of Harriett Devereux, his wife. James Devereux is adjudged to pay the sum of £4. If in default of immediate payment, to be imprisoned and kept at hard labour in the New House of Correction for 2 calendar months unless the sum shall be paid sooner. They direct the sum of £4 to be paid to William Lamb, the Overseer of the Poor of the parish and they ordered £1 for costs to be paid to Harriett Devereux.
