James Ross, convicted of being a rogue and vagabond who on the 3 Janaury entered the house of David Simpkins at Shillington and asked for relief and stated he had no parish but was obliged to wander about. James Ross is sentenced to be committed to the New House of Correction and kept at hard labour for the space of 14 days.
