John Gregory died a bachelor and intestate in January 1833 and so his moiety descends to his sisters a) Sarah wife of John Welch, b) Elizabeth Potts, widow, his nephew John Purrett (eldest son of his deceased sister Mary Purrett) in equal 1/3rd shares
