Scope and Content
1) Mary Gregory of Eversholt, widow of John Gregory of Eversholt, deceased (she was the only daughter of Mary Potts, late of Long Lane, Toddington, widow, theretofore nèe Linford, one of 5 daughters of Nathan Linford, late of Maulden, butcher deceased) (vendor)
2) Ezra Eagles of Ampthill, gentleman and Sarah his wife (purchaser)
3) Bartholomew Churchill Carter of Staple Inn, London, gentleman (trustee)
Recites Will of Nathan Linford (see WE2289 death of Francis Linford during lifetime of 4 sisters)
(NB Mary was firstly married to Lawrence Burr and then to Henry Potts)
a) ¼ share conveyed by Elizabeth Linford to George Knowles, her husband, who conveyed to Nathan Medcraft, father of Sarah Eagles.
b) ¼ share of Mary Potts which descends to 1) above. As Richard Medcraft died intestate so far as Trusts concerned, revert to son Nathan and hence to his 2 children John and Sarah (now Eagles) of whom only Sarah survives.

And close of pasture ground or arable land adjoining (formerly divided into 2 pightles) (2 acres) formerly in occupation of Nathan Linford, heretofore of Mary Linford, widow, since of Hester Bull, widow, or her assigns and now and for sometime past of Francis Read and his undertenants or assigns
And lot, plot or piece or parcel of ground (2 roods 5 perches) Maulden allotted to John Medcraft, William Wainwright and Mary Gregory at Enclosure in lieu of frontage of above cottage now in occupation of Francis Read
And in several pieces of arable land in open and common fields of Clophill (2 acres) viz:
In Church Field or Church Furlong 6 lands and a gore lying together
abutting N. land of Lady Lucas, S. land of Edwrad Horn, E. headland of Lady Lucas, W. Church Baulk
formerly in occupation of Nathan Linford etc. (same occupiers as cottage above)
And 3 cottages in Clophill, formerly in occupations of John Pryor, John Radley and Henry Carey and since of Peter Matthews and now of John Sanders, - Low and John Radley, and all estate Mary Gregory entitled to of above will
